Love Family Baking! I always stop here when I’m in Chinatown to get some vegan Asian pastries and cake cups. I’ve also ordered the vegan cake for my parents’ birthday, and a regular sheet cake for my grandparents. Everyone always compliments that they’re “not too sweet” 🎂

Visited this place through word-of-mouth while driving through ATL and it was such an unexpected, wonderful surprise. All of their bread has a soft and chewy texture. The bread feels very fresh and moist and is not dry compared to several other bakeries. It has a subtle sweetness in each bread that works very well. The owner, the guy working at the counter, was so kind to explain their bakery items and genuinely wants each customer to have the best experience. Overall, I loved their bakery and service. I would absolutely recommend it and plan to revisit it anytime I'm in ATL. Although we did not get to try it because they were sold out, it seems the most popular items are their egg tarts and bolo buns. Go early and get a taste!

Love this place so much! So many good vegan options and the owners are so sweet. They work so hard and put 100% into whatever they make. My personal favorites are the pork floss buns and any cakes but everything is so good!

Cute little bakery with good bread-based sweets, mousses, and a lot of vegan treat options that also has a pretty good coffee and tea menu for such a small place. The Hokkaido Coffee Latte was great both hot and iced, and the gentleman behind the counter explained when I asked if it was possible to get it less sweet than usual that they don't add extra sugar here. It was perfect. The toast loaves have such a delightful fluffy texture, and it wasn't particularly expensive.

I moved from Seattle to Atlanta for college, and Family Baking has been a taste of home. Their bread is always deliciously soft and the textures are consistent (for at least three years!) with lots of vegan and traditional selections. The owners are also extremely kind and enthusiastic. If you haven’t been before, you must go! Family Baking is a local gem.

Hey gang Taiwanese and Korean family here. Check my reviews I’m local to NC usually, no ties here. In our first year here we visited every pastry shop and many of them here, and Doraville area all have their best pastries. We love the wife cake/pastry, the pineapple cakes, chiffon sponge cake, plus all the vegan cakes and pastries since our daughter is dairy free. Only place to find options friendly for vegans and dairy free. Note the 3 items above are not vegan😂😂😂. Enjoy! The owner speaks several languages and is very friendly. Awesome mom and pop shop w great quality over mass production.

Amazing experience! The owner is always having an amazing positive attitude and has great manners. The deserts have a fresh taste on every single one of them. The drinks taste very good. Will 10/10 recommend to anyone who loves deserts and drinks.

Authentic Hong Kong Milk Tea!! If you like STRONG black tea with milk and a little sugar—you will love this! I brought my own thermos and they filled it up 🫶🏽

I have been here many times before for buns, egg tarts, and rolled cakes - all have been delicious. But after my most recent visit, I had to leave a review. I placed a last minute order for a cake with Family Baking (poor planning on my part) and they came through in a big way. I was SO happy with the design they did, and the cake was out of this world. Perfect “not too sweet” that Asian desserts strive to be. Cake was light and fluffy, not too much icing, good amount of mango. Also, it was HUGE. You may want to order in person if you’re looking for a particular design; they have some pictures of past designs that you can use as reference. I will absolutely be ordering again!

There is no better bakery ITP for Portuguese egg tarts or Pandan Swiss rolls. The drinks are also great and the uncle is eager to explain and efficient in his service. And probably the best Southeast Asian vegan bakery in the southeast.
